Primarily innovated as industrial vehicles during the 1930s in America, forklifts gained popularity after WWII during the 1940s. Becoming a reliable and efficient means to material handling solutions, the need and practicality of these machines spread internationally.

In nineteen forty nine, founded by Mr. N. Niwa, the first Toyo Carrier Manufacturing Company Limited, which was later named Toyo Umpanki Co, was established. Now the company is simply referred to as TCM Corporation. Throughout the years, TCM forklifts have become a global leader in forklift manufacturing and have built a solid reputation with the trade. TCM began constructing lift truck manufacturing locations outside of Japan in the 1980s and is presently engaged in forklift manufacturer at three foreign factories in Chine, the United States and Europe.

TCM proudly manufactures numerous models of industrial trucks with more than 50 years of accumulated technology and expertise, making their products used and recognized all around the world.
